I am absolutely shocked and amazed that you did not send an email right after I sent my last one just so you know. ( I did write but we were saving it to send Sunday just in case we wanted to add more...we thought he'd be writing on Monday. :( It broke my heart we didn't send it so he'd have it.)
The MTC life has been absolutely wonderful. I am rooming ith some wonderful Elders. My dorm room must be spiritually high because we have both our district leaders (DLs) and the Assistants to the President (APs). The Aps are Elder Blake and Elder Ochieng. They are very great men and I love them both. We were joking with Elder Blake, because he was doing sprints during sport time and he threw up. We were talking how the spirit is physically exhuasting and we were telling him he was full of the spirit. Ha Ha! Elder Ochieng is a very loving man and I love it when he smiles at me. He is from Africa and Elder Blake is from Virginia, but he attended at Utah State. Our DLs are Elder Maring and Elder Van Lueven. They are also great men. We joke with Maring that he is our mum, because he came prepared with like everything, and i mean everything, he also makes sure we are okay and have what we need, and he also gives us snacks. :) He is from both England and Germany. Elder Van Lueven reminds me of all my nerd friends like James and Jonny. He is from Springville Utah. My companion, who I love so much, is Elder Lewis. He is from Durban just around the corner in South Africa. I believe Durban is on the coast. I love his accent and I am kind of adopting it and he is adopting my American accent. It is weird when I am called an American by the way. I have gotten to know Elder Lewis a bit and I really like him. I have been trying to learn about his culture (we mostly talk about what food he has and what food we have). I think he has like two syblings, a younger brother and older sister. His sister is married and he lives with his brother and parents. only his dad is not a member.
Those are the Elders I dorm with, but there are 36 of us here at the MTC. I am trying to get to know everyone. It is cool that I get to develope a relationship with everyone at the MTC. Elser Dragon and I are in the same district and we are already best friends. I am running out of time so I cannot really go into detail about all the other Elders I have gotten to know.
We played some football during sport time and I loved it. I have rteally missed kicking a ball around. Our Englishman gave me a bloody nose while playing. He was doing fancy tricks with the ball and It got kicked right into my face. It was awesome. The Englishman name is Elder Jenkins or something like that. he is so cool and we have become good friends. There are a lot more missionaries here, but I do not have time to talk about them. Maybe next time. I will start rapping up now. I only have a couple of minutes.
I love you mom and I thank you for your support and help. Tell Jordan and Rachel I say hi and I love them. I guess I will be emailing Saturdays in the MTC and Mondays While in the mission field. I hope things are great. God Bless and Keep the Faith!
